Foreign Translations of Printed Materials

The Witchfire Trilogy books are currently being printed in French and Spanish, with talks underway for several other languages. WARMACHINE: Prime has been translated into German, French, and Italian. If you are interested in licensing Privateer Press books for translation and distribution in a foreign territory, send us email at frontdesk@privateerpress.com.

Our French partner is Asmodée Editions, well known for the French edition of Legend of the Five Rings. In Spain, we work with Edge Entertainment, who translate and distribute many RPGs including the Penumbra line of D20 products.

Production Licenses

In September of 2004, Privateer Press partnered with Cerberus Entertainment, LLC to open a production facility in Liverpool, England in order to meet the increasing demand for our products. Cerberus Entertainment, LLC was founded by industry veterans Bob Watts and Lisa Stevens. Mr. Watts formerly headed Games Workshop US, served as Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, founded Sabertooth Games, and has 30 years of experience in the miniatures game industry. Ms. Stevens also served as Vice President of Wizards of the Coast and is presently the CEO of Paizo Publishing, the largest publisher of Adventure Gaming magazines.

Licenses for Other Industries

There's a lot more to the Iron Kingdoms than role-playing games, such as the popular WARMACHINE® miniatures game. Interest in the setting continues to grow strongly as new products are released, and we are always open to licensing the Iron Kingdoms setting, stories and characters to businesses with strengths that complement our own.
